The objective of this paper is to explore innovations using academic interfaces. Our Prime Minister recently informed that Self Reliance is the only way forward and innovations will be one of dimensions to be imbibed by many organizations to compete in global era. It is important for Made in India brand to make products with global outreach. There are many projects executed by Academic Institutes however scaling the same, needs funds from government or corporate. The research focuses on innovation outreach by academic institutes and can the institutes become proof of concept centers for various companies. The focus will be to bring in many colleges and even schools in small towns to include frugal innovations as theme to build stepping stones for startup's emerging from institutes using right mix of IndustryAcademic - Student interfaces The outcome of research paper would be focused on building a proof of concept methodology using AI models to identify right team compositions needed for student startup spin offs using the Probing and Innovation dimensions of PASSION FRAMEWORK
