Godrej Agrovet (GAVL) is setting up an oil palm processing plant at Khammam district in Telangana at an investment of Rs 250 crore.

The facility will have a production capacity of 30 TPH initially, planned to be doubled in the later phase. The proposed plant is expected to be operational by 2025-26. The supporting plantation will be spread over an area of eight lakh hectares.

Apart from oil palm plantations, focusing on innovative products such as animal feed, aqua feed, agrochemicals, poultry processing and dairy services will augment the productivity and provide a means to support farmers.
