Pet owners have always struggled to find facilities to bury or cremate their animal companions though the city has a few burial spots for animals. But now, Blue Cross of India (BCI) and Chennai Willingdon Corporate Foundation have joined hands to give the city its first dedicated animal crematorium facility, one that will also let pet parents conduct last rites for their furry companions before they bid adieu. The facility will be inaugurated on October 30 by L Ganesh, chairman, Chennai Willingdon Corporate Foundation.
